I feel like I owe it to Taylor and Travis (the fish) to pay my respects to them on my blog. Taylor and Travis were rescued from the North Carolina State Fair on October 22, 2023. October 22 was the last day of the fair, so they likely would have been killed if not recovered. Taylor was a white goldfish while Travis was a traditional orange color. Taylor was known for her love of the fishtank “temple,” and Travis was known for his spazzy behavior. They died together, as a symbol of their undying love.Taylor and Travis are survived by Seth Adams, Tess Alongi, Lydia Chepelsky, Katherine Jolly (caregivers).
